Growing Tips

• Sunlight: Prefers partial to full sun — 4–6 hours per day. In hot weather, some afternoon shade helps prevent bolting.
• Soil: Moist, well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. pH of 6.0–7.0 is ideal.
• Watering: Keep soil consistently moist. Lettuce has shallow roots and dries out quickly — water regularly.
• Spacing: Plant 20–30 cm apart depending on variety; closer spacing works well for cut-and-come-again harvesting.

• Harvest: Pick outer leaves as needed for a continuous harvest, or cut the whole head at the base when mature.
